This headframe is one of the largest intact frame left in the mine district. Amazing history........ Please be careful is this area there are sink holes and pit mines located in the wood. This is not the place to run your dogs, and make sure to keep an eye on children.

Greetings from Oklahoma. Last week of a month long cache trip to Colorado. Drove over from Avon for a day of caching. Replaced log sheet and explored the area. Hard life the miners endured. Finding a good variety of caches. TFTH

Looked and looked before we read logbook that had several entries indicating that recent water diversion work had destroyed the cache. Still had fun looking around the site.

I think recent erosion control has taken this cache...it hasnt been found since 2016..
Spectacular views and mininghistory still make it worth coming!
