Cache located at the Silver Cord Mine, you will have to hike to the location your car will get you about a 1/4 mile from the site.
This cache is located at the Silver Cord Mine. The road will get you close but you will have to hike a little way up the hill to get to the cache. This is not a kids cache, please watch out for up pit mines near by. Do not climb on the arch protect it so that it is here for many more generations. Please respect this area it is one of Leadville's hidden treasures.

Took the chance and hiked here from the Treasure of Baby Doe. Things worked out and we had an easier time of the hike than from the bottom. All is well here. Thanks for the fun!

Greetings from Oklahoma. Last week of a month long cache trip to Colorado. Drove over from Avon for a day of caching. We parked car and walked about a 1/3 miles up to mine. Found the cache quickly and then explored the area and took pictures. Hard life the miners endured. Finding a good variety of caches. TFTH

2 old senior citizens made the climb up to find this cache. We only wish there was more of an explanation about what this place was. It's magnificient. Now hoping we don't crash and burn on the way down.
