This is a 2-STAGE multi cache, which is the beginning of the Cave Treasures Series.
2 Separate caves make up this Multi. The Brother cave will yield coords to the Sister cave.
From gold mines to diamonds to the vast beauty of the Rockies, Colorado definitely has its share of treasures to be proud of. In addition to the state’s natural treasures, it also has a rich history of Expeditions, Outlaws and Indian raids that led to buried gold — much of which has never been found.
There are many tales, mysteries, legends, ghosts and myths that surround these Lost Treasures from the raw and wild 1700-1800s. They elude to massive caches hidden throughout the Rocky Mountains left by Spaniards, Prospectors, French expeditions, Outlaws and pioneer wagon trains. Most have never been found.
This Cave Treasure Series is done in their memory and though we don’t have gold, silver or diamonds to hide, there is still the adventure of solving a mystery and becoming the “Finder” of lost treasures!
Brother Cave and Sister Cave are about 400' apart. Brother carries the coords for Sister. Both caves are small crawl-ins measuring about 3'X 4', 6' deep. Best to bring a flashlight.
*The Final Sister Cave has 2 Regular size Cache in it - one for Brothers and one for Sisters.
NOTE: Sister is a winter hibernation cave for some animal. Please replace cache where you found them so its “nest” is not disturbed.
*This is a mild to moderately steep, “bouldery” mountain goat climb with no marked trail. Not recommended for young kids.
