This is a large, cammoed bucket filled with over 2 dozen smaller cache containers, a large pile of swag, 2 geocoins and 2 travel bugs.

We are placing this cache as a way of saying “Thank you” and “Farewell” to all the great Colorado Cachers that we have met during our time in this beautiful state. The US Army is making us move to Texas, where we will have a fresh set of caches to find. We will really miss the caching and the nice people that we have met in Colorado.
Please feel free to take a cache container from this geocache and hide it elsewhere. Most of the containers are already camouflaged for you, but many do not have logs inside (we were a little pressed for time with all the packing, etc.).
Some of the original swag includes: “Scrubs” DVDs (season five), a hat from Cheyenne State Park, a 2009 Disney World Guidebook, glow sticks, and lots of other cool stuff. (The more we placed in here, the less we had to pack up to move.)
Your approach to the cache should be from the North. I parked at the Checker’s Auto Parts store and walked South through the field. Please do not approach from the East, since you would have to go through an area that is posted (in at least one place) as a wildlife recovery area.

Wow, what a fun cache to find! Large sizes are so rare that this is only our 45th find ever. We drove our Jeep right up the road that runs from the parking log below and returned the same way so as to disturb the area as little as possible. Took a Travel Bug, a Pez dispenser, a Hot Wheels car and a Halloween button; leaving a PS2 disc, a Little Mermaid, a large dinosaur and a keychain/flashlight set in exchange. SL. Thanks for the awesome cache, KJKlock.

Today @WindAtMyBack and I headed south to grab a bunch of caches before this week's leaderboards resets. I have to try to pass @2lablovers . As we headed toward Colorado Springs the weather took a turn. It was 59 degrees when we left Aurora, with rain in the forecast. But dark clouds loomed in the sky. By the time we reached Larkspur it started sprinkling. Then a slushy rain turning into snow pellets. We pushed through and managed to find 20 caches today.
Our last cache of the day. Slogged out way through the mud and found this container. Happy for a large. I grabbed the only TB left in the container. Tftc!

Happy Halloween everyone!

I was in search of a large cache today while driving around and came across here. I was surprised to open the container and see that 6 trackable's were waiting to be discovered, how nice is that! The lid was almost completely open here so I'm glad that I was able to lock this one back in place after I was done. I also hide the cache a little more in the tree as it was out in the open when I found it.

On my way back down to the parking lot, I wish that I had driven the truck up here and seeing the couple of tire marks that are here, it looks like I wasn't the only one with that idea.
