I was out and about caching with herndonrd and this cache was one of our primary targets. I did what I do best and ruled out all the places where a cache wasn't placed. I put up with the cheerful demeanor of herndonrd because he finds caches like this one, and I firmly believe that one's likeability is directly related to his or her skills at finding a cache (which is why I don't like my children and only consider PayMeCache an acquaintance). After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to another one.
I enjoyed this puzzle in part because it gets me very close to finally completing the Uber Mystery Challenge (less than thirty to go). In addition, finding a puzzle today helps with another puzzle (canned language about my insanity to follow).
I chose today to look for this one because I signed an insane challenge in California that requires me to find a puzzle cache on every calendar day of the year (save February 29th) in order to meet the logging requirements. I am thrilled to be one day closer to completing the challenge, though I still have just over sixty days to go. Thanks for the fun puzzle, hide, and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.
P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

Out caching with Fearthefish. Fairly easy solve. Yes the log is soaking wet. TFTC!

In the area for a nice day of caching. This was the first stop and clears another one from the solved pile. Even the replacement log was soaked. Tried to dry it best I could. Needs a more weather proof container. TFTC
