When hiding this cache, my intent was to place it near the Cincinnati Mine. However, I lost Trail 652A under the snow, in the valley below, and never found the mine. Many thanks to Vort & Ernie for finding it and sharing these coordinates!

I am curious if you would be willing to "watch over" a cache that we placed on pikes peak. We travel there annually but our cache reviewer is reluctant to post due to our geographical distance and ability to maintain the cache year round. It would mean a lot to my family if you were able.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Zach

I had a great day in Elk Park with estes01. Once the problem was solved it was time for a little break in a beautiful spot. TFTC

So this is where that "famous" picture of Ernie and Vort, reclining in their rock chairs, was taken! WingsAndTales and I are getting quite good at finding creative ways to get on top of large boulders…I wonder how long it will take for the Pikes Peak granite imprints to leave my knees and hands. Nice spot to sit and stare at the spectacular cliffs, particularly that Kriskook cache that neither of us ever intend to do – not even with ropes and harnesses.
