An OTC pill bottle, nestled in a rock house with a cow patty roof. Namesake not that big, BUT, if is does have water running, watch kiddies, pets, adults with no sense. Take Chaffee County / Forest road 272 west off US 285. Park right after you cross.Been camping in this Brown's Creek area for sometime. One day coming back from day trip it had water. A few days later it didn't. ??? Where does it start and go ??? Finally found out its name and that it starts several miles up Chalk Creek and ends several miles on down. Don't know the history, but bet it was dug back when people knew that a full day with pick and shovel was just another day. I thought, this deserves a geocache and, by the way, it's my first.
06/21/2019 By Lego Crew Our 4th find of the day. We stopped on our return trip from Brown's Creek Falls. Quick find. Plenty of room to pull off the road, which was busier than I would have thought today. Very interesting structure. Thanks for showing it to us.
01/06/2019 By ccdell Out to grab some caches since it was so nice... east of the mountains. 30 degrees and snowing here. But I never said planning was my strong suit. TFTC
08/05/2018 By Rich_Life Just finished camping down the road. TFTC!
07/07/2018 By TiggerT13 Another beautiful summer day. TFTC
07/04/2018 By 9-rushman&farmgirl79 Parked really close. Don't go off the road/trail. Lots of cactus on both sides. Easy find after we got to the GZ. Stamped the log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC
