The cache is not at the listed cords you will find it at N 38 37.BOB 107 52.CAT Elevation for BOB IS 6406 feet at the cache and elevation for CAT(Gateway co) is 4613 feet. you need to find how much less volume of air is available to your lungs at these altitudes than at sea level For BOB multiply your answer by 47.6 and for CAT multiply your answer by 12.786 and drop last three digits. The air pressure in Denver is approximately 17% less than that of sea-level. That's 17% less volume of air available to your lungs.

6 Logs: Found it 4  Didn't find it 2

Found it 11/18/2018 By BG2015
I came back with slightly different coordinates this time and found the moldy dollar bill. I did not have any logs with me to replace. Thanks.

I've solved the puzzle but no luck finding the cache today. I had a hard GZ lock but couldn't make the snag. Looks like this lonely cache will stay just that way.

I had the answer to the cache coords earlier this spring (with a bit of help from cache owner) so I was going to team up with kekj and do the whole series of caches out here. Ended up my Mom got sick and I spent my time with her instead. So today I headed out to grab this while wandering around grabbing other caches. I too opted to walk the last half mile to trailhead as had left my jeep at home and the road was just too tough for my SUV. Quite a fun hike to cache site!! I THINK I found the cache! In a crevice is a small white container wrapped in duct tape, there is a purple lid but it wasn't on container and there was nothing in container except sand!! I signed a dollar bill (as best I could as my stupid pen wouldn't write on it), put it in container and put all back as I found it. Great fun!!

7-17-15 (not the same date as the log) We are some 27 caches behind in logging – have not been completely up to date since mid May at which time the Ms. took off for our “legal residence” in AZ, returned for 2 wks, and again in AZ for most of June. I did do some caching without her, mostly bushwhacking type stuff that she detests but am nearing completion of a 14 month project in Delta and putting in long hours. In addition to the Ms., made several other trips to GJT during that same time period picking up Architect, designer, etc. – usually picking up a cache or 2 on the way into town, but not logging it. Have only logged the few FTF and Event caches in the meantime – now catching up. Spent HOURS going back through GPS “Track logs” making sure we got all the caches and on the right dates. With these 27 logs we will have surpassed the 1000 mark by 3 caches.

One of the “unlogged” caches was GCRTA9 – Hidden in the Hunting Ground, a mapping puzzler multi by McMurdo1. We found the first three stages as a team but ran out of daylight, mapping resources, & smarts - and did not find the final stage that day. I literally woke up in the middle of the night with the solution and after taking the Ms. to GJT the following day went out and made the find on the way back home to Delta. I signed the log and logged a “Note” but decided to wait until the Ms. came back and could sign the log also before LOGGING it as our 1000th find. It is definitely in our top 5 list of favorite caches!

This is one of those other 27 unlogged caches. Sorry for the late log but want to thank each and everyone of you for having set the cache for our enjoyment. Had to take a crack at the math in this one several times and make allowances for temperature and humidity to come up with a "density altitude" that allowed for some variation of real math. Have been working on the puzzles is this area for months knowing that we were fast running out of caches in the Delta Montrose area. Also figured out that you need to solve ALL the jake92 puzzlers in the area or you may walk right past an actual GZ and later find that you have to make a long drive/hike back out for it.

With the Ms. in AZ decided to make a run for the outback and pick up a few caches this log date. Got UTE trail overlook, DNF on náshdóítsoh (you tazhii (turkey/bird)) and Lizard Valley. Views were so neat that will HAVE to bring the Ms. back out to see them and at same time hope to get the Peach Valley series (plus one - Native American - my sis also helped me on that one as the code is very close to her own - she "talks" in code). ahéhee' bii'nda'a'néhé (TFTC) SL Visited bugs

I thought I had it figured out, but I'll have to go over my math once again. A great day for looking though!

Easily found after a short early morning hike up the road and trail. (We opted to NOT try to drive the last 1/2 mile to the trailhead parking.) Great view of the Gunnison Gorge. TNLN. SL. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot! Great puzzle however the solution requires an inexact application of physics.
