For this cache don't go to the cords listed. The cache is there just 15 feet under ground. to get to it you must start at N 39° 40.260 W 105° 09.936 there is a retention pond with a storm drain entrance. The catacombs. You will be surprised at the size of the tunnel it's pretty big but don't be fooled after every junction it gets tighter and tighter it took me 45 min at a fast pace (i know my way around these pipes) to get to to the hiding space and the same to get out. . I would not do this cash if you are super tall or closterfobic. The cache has a cash prize for the ftf.

Supplies Flash light(I have a 150$ super bright and i could only see 6 feet ahead) backpack knee pads helmet water bottle gloves GPS old shoes(they will get wet and dirty) a rope and carabiner (for the last bit i had to drag my backpack behind me (it's so tight in there). clip the carabiner to the loop on your backpack then tie the rope around your waist )

Wow, what a day! This one is not for the timid. I teamed up with @windatmyback, @intrepiidexplorer, and @2lablovers for the catacombs caches. Started with the easier one (#2.) This one tested our phobias, our muscles, and our dedication. A great subterranean adventure, for sure! Tftc!

What a great day with LostinDenver, WindatMyBack, intrepiidexplorer and Ben. LostinDenver got this idea started a couple weeks ago when he threw out the idea of doing the Catacoms. We jumped at the idea and plans were made. First step was getting all our supplies - bought knee pads (very needed) and headlamp (was not very helpful but maybe ours was just not a good one - hardly any light). Other things we brought included gloves (very helpful), rope (used for pulley system), flashlights (had no problem holding one even while crawling). Hubby wore a helmet which came in very handy based on how scraped up it now is. If I did it again i would wear some type of hat (like a beanie) just because i did scrape at a few spots. And trash bags for wading thru the water. We used the trash bags which weren't completely waterproof and were a bit of a pain putting on and then one blew into the water while we were doing the tunnel. The others had rubber boots which seemed easier. Just as we got there two boys exited the tunnel - they had just been exploring - not cachers. Started out easy, could actually stand, but then of course it got progressively smaller until the last few tunnels had us crawling. Happily there were frequent places to stop and stand up. We took full advantages of these stops for a rest and even some scary stories. And of course we turned off all our lights to see how dark it was. Very happy to get to the end and sign the log - pics taken. Felt fine when we finished but by evening I was so tired and sore but so happy we did it !!

Found with @IntrepiidExplorer @LostInDenver and @2LabLovers we are making this a group adventure. Sooooo fun, I'm really glad I didn't listen to the claustrophobia warning. There are plenty of places to stand and get fresh air TFTC

Good crawl/ bend over walk - Knee pads worked great along with headlamp - Lite the way for the next hand placement - Get the crawl rhythm down and speed up - do look up as you speed along. If the person stops and you don't see his "backside brake lighrts" you will rear end him with your head butt procedures. ,
