Wasn't brave enough to climb any of the trees in the immediate area. Now that I've read the activity logs, may go back to give it another go.

My goodness, am I glad COpackrat agreed to come with me on this one, as I'd have certainly walked away empty-handed! Choosing the right tree took a bit of creativity, but based on previous logs, we narrowed it down, and up she went. Thanks for placing this cache, though I agree with previous finders that it may be wise/considerate to move it somewhere not currently inhabited!

After reviewing everything on the cache page, climbing my first time on finding it, and then going back and getting my TOTT, and searching all the other trees, I place TOTT Went up and did a deep thorough search. Came to the conclusion that this is a nesting site for some small animal because of all the new shredded plastic and misc. Small debris, so I dug as deep as my arm could go and didn’t find the container. I believe that the small animals dig it out, so I replaced it again.

After reviewing previous casher's notes, I saw a description of where the cache is. It matched the cache hiding place that I found. Then I searched geocaching.com and discovered that the CO hid 7 caches but has never found one. They have not been on the website since 2016. So I turned around, drove back to the cache, and replaced it with one of my own. I hope the CO doesn't mind the replacement. Good luck. If you need a tip message me. Found with @windatmyback. Tftc!

First, I'm 47 years old and should know better than to go tree climbing at night. But against my better judgement, I shimmied up the likely candidate. Not an easy task for a tubby guy like me. While on the trunk, something flew just over my head and scurried up the adjacent tree, which has a 2 hole birdhouse. I realized it was a squirrel. Then, with my head at the cache area, another squirrel flew out! Their home, I suspect, is the cache host. I searched without luck. Took a few photos, and shimmied back down. I'll send the pics to the CO. Now I'm headed home to lick my wounds and lather myself in Deep Heat.

Posted coordinates didn't leave us near any trees that looked particularly climbable. Saw a one in particular to the 'left' with a feature that was of interest, but didn't come prepared to give that one a go. Will have to come back a little better prepared next time.
