We meyondered around the reservoir stopping here and there to do some fishing. The water is super low so we crossed well before the end of the reservoir. I veered off to get this cache while Lemonheadmafia and my son turned back towards the dam to find another fishing spot. Cache is in good shape. Sl, thanks!

Our Colorado vacation continued today with a trip up Pikes Peak, then a bunch of caching as we made our way up to Golden. Enjoyed a nice hike out to this cache while making our way down from the summit. TFTC!

On the way back down I grabbed my pole and headed down to the lake for some catch and release.
I fished my way around to look for this one and fished on this side till almost evening.
It is in great shape.
Thanks for the cache!

Rachell & I made it about half way to the cache when a thunderstorm and heavy rain convinced us to turn around and go back to the car. Oh well, can't find them all. Nice lake though!

Made an attempt on this one from the Overlook. Our GPSs showed the cache to b 1 mile ATCF so we started out. By the time we reached the halfway point (0.5 mi) from the cache, a storm, complete with thunder, lightening and rain had moved in. The idea of getting soaked just didn't seem very appealing today since we were headed off to the airport so we turned back and returned to the car.

From the 15th July to 4th August our family made a great vacation in the United States
! We visited beautiful spots of this country like New York, Las Vegas, Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon NP, Monument Valley, Zapata Ranch and Rocky Mountains NP
. Of course I had to make some cool Geocaches during this roadtrip
- and this was one of it
!
Our 9th destination was the Woodland Park in the Rockies
! From there we made a little trip to Pikes Peak
. We left our car at the parking area of the crystal sea (on the northern side) and walked around the lake
! It was beautiful, the landscape reflected in the water, and the sun was shining
! It was not an easy or a little hike to this little traditional cache, but it was worth it
... The cache was next to a big rock and there we found it easily
. Thanks for hiding the cache at an extraordinary location like that
! Greetings from far-away Germany
.

Bucky & I found this cache on the 3rd day of the 14th Annual Me & Bucky's Caching & Benchmarking Cachapoloosa! The temperature was in the high 30s to mid 60s in mostly sunny skies. Perfect for this time of year!
Every year, on or around the July 4th weekend, we do an extensive caching road trip, and this year's trip happened to coincide with our trip to GeoWoodstock in Denver.
Today was the 3rd day of our GeoWoodstock roadtrip, and today's drive was from Fairplay, Colorado to Littleton. Met up with Moose Mob and PhantomWSO yesterday in Fairplay, and today we headed to Tarryall and Pikes Peak, before finishing for the day in Littleton.
Made the quick find here, then continued on for more fun!
Thanks for the cache!!
