At the time of the cache being published, there is a woodpecker nest a bit north of the cache in another tree, thus the name of this cache. I have marked parking with a waypoint, and you can either cross the bridge and then walk through the long grass, or walk through short grass and cross the concrete ditch. Cache is stocked with swag, and is big enough for a TB or two, as it is between a small and regular. Please be sure to replace the cache exactly as you found it, so it is more fun for others to find and less likely to get muggled. It was good to see a larger container with fun stuff to trade. We were worried that the grass might scratch our legs, but it was super soft. Really nice hide! TFTC!

We headed out to go grab the recently published caches, seeing that they have been logged and cleaning up a few others caches in the area. After completing our list of caches we stopped by one our favorite Resturant "Spice China" in Lafayette to pick up some lunch and make our way back home. Very nice hide and camo, TNLN,TFTC,SL
