We figured this part of Little Dry Creek could use a cache. From GZ you can see the rickety bridge to the east, although the cache is easier accessed from the west. I have added a parking waypoint there, the cache can be accessed from the trail by the parking area. The cache is a small camoed container, but you don't need to get too close to the creek to find it. It should be a quick grab! There is some SWAG in the container, be sure that if take something you leave something of equal value. Please rehide the cache as you find it, and happy caching! I am surprised there are not more recent finds for this one. Nice location although I can see why it would be a problem to find in the winter. Not an issue today. Log is a bit damp but otherwise the cache is in good condition. TFTC

I looked for a long time, but couldn't find the container. So I reviewed logs and saw exactly where the container should have been. I had already searched there and found nothing. After another unsuccessful check, I retrieved a temporary replacement. It should last until the CO has a chance to upgrade.
Today we went north to attend a GIFF event. Afterward we cached around the area and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset. Then we stopped for dinner. Surprise, there was an FTF within half a mile. We stopped by, found the blank log and waited for others to arrive. But no one came to our party :(

Made this harder than necessary. Started on wrong side and then had to backtrack and go to the correct side. Then we missed it on our first sweep of the area. It has been so hot but finally the clouds are moving in. What a difference that makes !

We headed out to go grab the recently published caches, seeing that they have been logged and cleaning up a few others caches in the area. After completing our list of caches we stopped by one our favorite Resturant "Spice China" in Lafayette to pick up some lunch and make our way back home. Very nice hide and camo, TNLN,TFTC,SL
