The Lamar Loop is 9 miles of new trail that will make recreation in Lamar safer, more affordable, easier to access and fun!  The Loop will connect 5 parks, 5 schools, 1 community college, 3 existing recreational facilities and 3 existing trails.  The majority of Lamar residents will live within 1 mile of the Loop.  The Loop has been made possible through grant funding from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) and Healthy Places.

The cache is located at the Lamar Baseball/Softball Complex one field south of the Lamar Loop.  There are multiple fields for baseball, softball and T-ball.  There are very few summer evenings when there isn't at least one game being played.  The cache is not on the field but is well disguised and contains a log book and some great local swag.
