Easy walk along a trail following a row of houses uphill. A short walk through a field is required after breaking off the trail. During summer months, plants become thicker and harder to avoid, so be careful.
Rubbermaid container wrapped in black duct tape. Original contents includes a book, travel bug, ball, dinosaur and other animal figures.

UPDATE: Trail was overgrown in years past but this year the trail has been groomed. Please note that there's no reason to climb the barbed-wire fence - there's an opening that provides access to the cache.

This was a nice walk from the park following the deer trails. I wasn't having much luck finding the cache, then looked from just the correct angle and wondered why I hadn't seen it before. Thanks for the find, The McDonald Family.

Nicely done. Signed log.

Thanks FamilyMcDonald for giving me a reason to get outside. It’s always worth it when you are enjoying nature. There is nothing better than acting like a kid again, digging through weeds and climbing trees, all to sign my name on a piece of paper.

Found with Cachly for IOS on November 5, 2018 at 10:00:46 AM. Geocache find #305.

Aptly named deer pennisula! I saw over 15 deer today. Kinda made me nervous once I saw how close to the cache they were. Chatted with them while I searched and finally they mosied on making me comfortable enough to grab the cache. Glad to do this one now and not in the summer! Sl, thanks

I thought this might be muddy after the quick snow melt, but it was a nice walk. TFTC

Visiting from PA. Stopped here before flying home - came for the D/T rating. Container was hard to spot - took a few passes to finally see it. Tftc!

fearthefish called wondering what I was up to this morning. As soon as he mentioned a cache that was looking quite lonely I was tying my shoes and heading out the door. We found remnants of the container so thankfully fearthefish came more prepared than I did. We dropped a new cache so that other could continue enjoying this one.

Thank you, FamilyMcDonald for placing a fun cache for all of us to enjoy. I look forward to finding more of your caches.
