I've been on this trail multiple times before, starting from both sides, but have never made it over to this area. The last time I was up here was in December and I was thinking I could get over here, but it started snowing so I had to head back. This morning was beautiful though and so I got up before the rest of the family and my geodog Jack and I hit the trail.

We only had two left along the trail to find and this was the second of the two. The first I found pretty quickly. Then it was another 3/10 mile over to here as the crow flies. Thankfully there was no one around GZ.

The combination of the hint and previous logs got me on the right spot pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the baggie and log are shot. Fortunately I had some baggies and a log in my backpack. I doubled up on the baggie to hopefully keep this in better shape for the next finder. A year from now! :)

Thanks for the hide nbochner. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Found a baggie with the leaf in it. Didn’t realize the leaf was signed. I removed it and replaced with a paper log Afterwards I read the previous log but it's too late. The leaf is now mixed with the thousands of others on the ground. Sorry.
Cache still needs a new container.

No cacher gives up! No log, no container so I signed a leaf and put it in the Ziploc bag. Tftc!

Sara and I walked in from the west side through the snow. It was a beautiful journey despite being less then 10 degrees. At GZ a muggle appeared and asked us if we were ok as he was puzzled by our behavior. Dug through the snow to make the find. TFTC! Another block filled on the grid for us!
