This is Montrose's first NIGHT CACHE!
FLASH LIGHT REQUIRED
If you have never done one, here are a few pointers:
1. Bring a flashlight!! (The brighter the better!!) I had 3 when I placed this cache if that helps you any....
2. Bring a friend, it can get spooky and creepy in the dark following the reflectors.
The trail is even and a mix between smooth concrete and compact dirt.
3. Be aware of your surroundings. You're never alone in these woods at night, and there may be local river wildlife hopping about.
4. You are going to be walking ....in the dark.....
You may have to venture from the concrete trail through weeds, bushes, climb over fallen trees, and under hanging branches.
5. Movement at night is slower. Plan on spending extra time and not be in a rush.
6. Bring a flashlight, headlamp and/or any other beamed, luminscent handheld device. (A cell phone flashlight is NOT recommended).
Bug spray, solid shoes, and long pants are very much encouraged.
To successfully complete this night cache you will need to do the following:
1) Look for GREEN reflective geo-tacks located along the trail from shin to above head height.
The GREEN reflective geo-tacks start at posted coordinates (NOT the parking coordinates).
2) Follow the GREEN reflective geo-tacks until you run out of GREEN markers.
3) Look for 3 small GREEN reflective geo-tacks markers, horizontally grouped together. They will point you towards the final.
4) The final is a waterproof, lockbox, combination cache container. Combination is in the hint.
