A quick cache-n-dash along an otherwise cacheless stretch of road.
Best approached from the East.

While in the area we noticed that this stretch of highway was lacking.
So we decided to place a cache for our Southern friends.
(Our friends to the North, East and West are welcome to find it too! )

This cache has a great view of a nearby creek and we figured it was a safe place to pull out.
All the same
please use caution
especially where four-legged and younger cachers are concerned.

Keep on cachin' in a free world!

Headed West today, taking a route that only a geocacher would understand. I stopped here to take a break from the driving - and of course to find this cache. I actually hadn't planned to stop here, but noticed it on my GPSer as I was driving through. So, I just had to stop then! Thanks for the fun!

Another Colorado county find on a epic 3-day, 5-state jaunt with Eagle Rock Rob. After stopping at Tarryall in the morning, we headed south.

The smoke from the wildfires spoiled an otherwise Colorado postcard backroad journey.

Eagle Rock Rob was almost road kill on this one, but the old man can still move when he has to!

Sincere thanks for the cache from SoCal.

Another new county for me! Hooray Pueblo. A short log, but what the heck Réd remembers more that I do. Found at 6:10 p.m

Some may say there is nothing out here but there is so much if you look (or travel with your scientist brother). Besides the cache found two unique stones and learned about the strata. Even if you don’t “find” things, appreciate the awesome vastness and ability to see so far. Enjoyed time traveling in our mini caravan and having along enthusiastic little niece & nephew catcher hunters!
