So I am creating a trail of caches inspired for two different reasons.  The first is the satellite series all over El Paso County thanks to WitzAbout.  The second is how hard it is to find caches beginning with a number for the AlphaNumeric challenge.  So in honor of that I am creating the countdown series that will result in a rocket launch to get another satellite into orbit for WitzAbout.

I am hoping to get the entire series along Link Road.  The countdown caches themselves are kinda boring, but I am looking for something a little more creative for the final cache.  If you needed one of these caches for your challenge, please let me know in your comment.

Recomend you park ia little further past this one where it is wider and walk to couple hundred feet back to it or park on the other side of the road.

Yup, I did that. Just another bison tube in a tree. (You know there had to be one of these in the string)

So on this Friday afternoon with my normal crew off doing more fun things than work all day...I decided to head south and hit up the rocket ship lift off countdown and work on getting through a good portion of dondjay's caches! Its just a shame that he couldn't find a good place to put the blast off cache so that I could finish the whole series. Man, was it hot out for this trip!!

Did the caches on the east side of the road from south to north, because that seemed like a logical way to go, but later I decided that north to south would have been better for all of them, because there is more room to get the cachemobile off the road on the west side. Thanks for hiding this cache.

9 of 10 down. This one will be fun as things mature. But with a not so camo container it's all good. CCC

Series gets a Favorite. What a fun Series ~ counting down 10, 9, 8 but as LADDITUDE posted we did the countdown on the west side of the road first then turned around and did the east side. NICE TO SPEND THE DAY IN THE AREA WITH LADDITUDE THAT INTRODUCED US TO GEOCACHING IN 2004 OR SO. Thanks to Mr LADDITUDE for.excellent driving and Mrs LADDITUDE for her sharp eye. We snagged 21 caches this afternoon. In this Covid-19 virus season Chili's opened today for indoor seating so it was a bonus for us to enjoy our main meal for the day.

Out doing many caches in Fountain area with DASHON, our caching buddy from California. So much fun to be together again. Thanks so much for placing this run... we did the road twice, finding all the caches on one side, then turned and did those on the other side. Lots of traffic today so didn't feel like walking across the street. TFTC SL
