A short level walk to the cache. No trail exists, which means the approach could be muddy after a rain. Parking is available at 39.38.521 105.07.696

A blonde came home from a party and was all excited because she had met a new fellow who had really impressed her - he said he was an astronaut and was assigned to a special team that was going to make history. It had been a long time since man had landed on the moon, but his group was going to go them one better and land on the sun!! Her dark haired room mate was skeptical.
"That's impossible," she said, "they'd burn up if they tried to do that."
"Don't be silly" said the blonde, "they're planning to go at night."

Came back to try to avenge my DNF. Looked for quite a while then reached out to CO who quickly confirmed I was on the right track. Weather & time have made this harder to find but with a nearby TOTT I was able to identify something unnatural. It should be a little easier to find for now, until the next rain anyway. Coordinates are right on.

Darn we desperately wanted to find this one had what we thought was a good idea about the hide but were unable to execute our plan. Lightning and rain rolling in so decided it might be a good idea to get away from this location. Search for a long time. Found a couple of spots that made our hearts jump but no luck

I had looked for this one last year and could not find it in a long search.
And not found since 2014 does not encourage a second visit.
But a check by the CO does!
So, I headed out again and was greeted by the pr airy dogs.
They probably recognized from last time.
But after an hour searching I was ready to give up.
One last try, and with a lot of luck the container showed itself.
Great feeling to find this after 2 1/2 year of no finds.
It is in good shape!
But I think the D2 is too low (at least a D3).
Thanks for hiding and maintaining this old cache, COpackrat!

Checked on cache today and it is there and in good shape - no maintenance required. Rescued the travel bug to move it along.

Did a nice long search with my girlfriend and we could not find it. I even used the photo of the cache in the gallery, but I'm pretty sure it's not here.

Checked this location for quite a while.
But no sign of a container.
Time for a checkup as it has not been found for some time.
