This cache is named after my favorite double black diamond ski run. If you ever wanted to see what a double black looks like without having to go down one, this would be your chance. This cache is located in the Snowmass Ditch trail and is a two mile round trip walk with no elevation gain and crosses the Campground side of the Snowmass Ski Area. Parking is at the Divide parking lot just up the hill from Krablootnik dog sledding. This cache is accessible both winter and summer, just watch for skiiers if you do it in the winter, and you can also do this cache by going down the Powderhorn run. This spot has a great view up Snowmass creek valley and of Mt Daly which is 13,300 ft

We’re here from England, just having a ride up the Ditch Trail after watching the England soccer team reach the World Cup Semi-Final. This was a great place to have lunch and a nice easy find.
We are The J Walkers, Pete & Dawn Jeffs from Plymouth, we’re visiting our son, Daniel, who is working out here for a year. This week has seen him catch the geocaching bug!

Powderhorn Trail ist für mich zu schwierig. Deswegen habe ich meinen Muggel-
Sohn gebeten, doch mal nach diesem Cache zu schauen. Für ihn war es eine Herausforderung, den Cache mit dem Snowboard aufzusuchen und für mich zu loggen. Aber er sagte, es war kein schönes fahren...
