The Guiness Shrine
This cache is hidden in a beautiful spot along a trail that runs along side of the Elk Creek. It's a typical ammo box. This area is really never crowded and most of the time, you will be the only one on the trail. When you get to the fork on the trail, make sure to fork to the left....working your way down along the creek. Once you find this cache, make sure to continue the hike back because it gets even more beautiful with areas to pull over along side the creek and picnic. Great for kids!

Thank you for the cache. We like finding the ones that have not been found in a while. Had a fun time watching rock climbers from below on Hadley Gulch Trail. The cache was a little rusted shut but we got it open.

A nice leisurely hike to the cache before the sun came over the canyon walls. Thanks to 3cacheteers for the directions, we walked by it and had to backtrack. Left a roll of electrical tape and a 1994 Colorado Rockies baseball collectible pin. Cache is in great shape. Lone Wolf 77 and I on a western slope geocaching vacation. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl

Back again to try and figure out where I went wrong with this hike/cache last time. This time when I saw the trail to the left (before getting to the FS marker I took it). Last time I assumed that this trail went down onto private property so stayed on the upper trail and went left later which was a mistake!!! Very nice pleasant hike this time and found the cache with no problem then wandered up the trail into the canyon. Wow is it pretty in the canyon with the creek right next to you. Even as cold as the water was the dogs were in and out of it the whole trip. There is no log book in the cache so just signed a card that someone left in it.
