Quick find. I moved here a couple of months after the crash, but don’t remember anything about it. Thanks for placing this cache for me to find. TFTC.

Although we weren’t living in Colorado Springs at the time of the crash, we heard about it on the evening news and were shocked that the accident occurred so close to home. On a related note, we found the WWII Crash Site cache yesterday. It’s a blessing that there aren’t more aircraft accidents in the challenging flight environment around Colorado Springs.

It took a bit of research and computation to solve this puzzle. The actual find was much easier. This is day #1000 of our caching streak; thanks for the fun puzzle cache.

I have had this one solved for a long time and found time to go to this area today for the find.

Thanks for the puzzle cache. I remember this day as I've lived here most of my life. What a tragic accident and a huge shock to the community.

I've had this one on my list of solved puzzles for some time now but I rarely go south. Today the kids and I needed to get out and enjoy the amazing weather! We decided to head this way to a nearby park. This was the second stop and made for a quick one. I was able to spot it on approach. Signed the log and replaced as found. All is well here.

Thanks again for the reminder of that tragic day and the puzzle cache to go with it.

Started the Planetary Pursuit challenge this week. This one helped us with necessary points for the challenge. At first, we couldn't figure it out. Then, with a little work, we figured out how to use Google maps and the measuring distance tool. It wasn't perfect work, so we didn't attempt the geochecker. We went to were we thought the container should be, and found it after a short time. TFTC.

I worked the puzzle a couple times... there's an online resource about the starting point which gave nearly the exact numbers I had on gpsr in person. Either way, my "solve" was in a mowed area on the wrong side of the street; making the find was exactly as GPS nav described in his log.
The o-ring was inside, allowing all the rain to be there too; I tossed the sloppy original paper, replaced it and put the lid back on nice & snug.
