You'll find this cache on the trail to GC54EF - Quartz (Mica) Mine Cache

Start at the Bangs Canyon Staging Area and take the trail towards the quartz mine. The cache is a short distance off the easily followed trail. The cache is small with only room for small items. BYOP

Tough find, but we managed to get it. Gps bouncing all over- had to step back and get a new bearing a few times and then start again. Signed log, tftc

While visiting the area for a week, this hike was highly recommended. Despite the forecasted high afternoon temps near 100 degrees, we set off early in the morning to explore the trail. On the way to the Mica/Quartz mine we stopped and searched every nook and cubby we could find. No luck. We continued down the trail to the mine and then stopped for an additional search on our way back. So disappointing to not locate the container. Thanks anyways, NW & RBG
