Simple two stage multi.

“Below the thunders of the upper deep;
Far far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides; above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous grot and secret cell
Unnumber'd and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the slumbering green.
There hath he lain for ages, and will lie
Battening upon huge seaworms in his sleep,
Until the latter fire shall heat the deep;
Then once by man and angels to be seen,
In roaring he shall rise and on the surface die.”

            ~ Alfred Tennyson

This is a LARGE geocache which started with a few goodies: Dwight Eisenhower bust, spooky rabbit, wooden nickel, scorpion in glass, compass, difficult metal puzzle, and a few containers.  Feel free to take the containers as replacements for nearby ones which might be missing.

Grabbing this geocache will require you to go off the trail, balance while you cross a small river, and then reach for the stars.  The ground is uneven, and wildlife abounds. You might see deer, pronghorns, raccoons, and foxes. Be careful of rattlesnakes.

Congratulations to Herndonrd for braving the elements of wind, weather and mosquito to grab the FTF! 25/108

This was the last multi of the day. It took me a minute to figure out that the lid just pulled off rather than needing to be turned. Everything in the cache was in good shape. TFTC

Waited for a nice winter day with no snakes to find this one! Made it to the container, but the lid wouldn't budge, so I took a photo of the container, signed a K on the lid, and rehid it. Messaged the photo to the CO as proof. Thanks for the trek and the hide!

Had a great time caching with jasperdakota on this sunny day. We loved tromping around getting these creative multis. Perfect time of the year to get them, given previous logs. Thanks for hiding them!

Another fun trip to this area. Saw two deer and NO snakes . Of course George had no problem and I only got one foot a little wet. But it was all totally worth it - a LARGE container. Wish I had brought more to leave in it beside a TB. Thanks for the adventure.

Very nice multi! Thanks to LostinDenver for placing it! I saw several deer and a large rattler which forced me to adjust my stream crossing resulting in one wet foot but avoided the snake. I grabbed 3 travelers and placed a lanyard from the recent US Senior Open Golf tournament in the container, which I'm fairly certain is visible from space ;-) TFTH!
