I placed this cache, in the Pike National Forest,  in honor of two boyscouts that were working on their merit badges back in April of 2015.  Their cache was called "Bigfoot's Hideout" but it had to be pulled because most of it was destroyed.  I was able to save some of the treasures which are in this medium sized container.  You'll have to park and walk down the footpath a good ways but it is a easy walk.    If you take something, please leave something in return.  Please respect the forest and keep it clean.

Great to see new geocaches every now and then in Teller County. The kids and I parked and made the very easy 1000 foot walk on flat easy terrain to GZ and found the container very quickly. Second to find! Stamped the log, grabbed the trackable and dropped off a new trackable of ours - BeanBag Gorilla. Nice to find a good size container that was originally a geocache for scouts, so we are giving this one at a well-deserved favorite point! TFTC!

Saw this new cache hadn’t been found yet so we decided to head up this way. Found cache with no problem and left a TB for the next finder.
