A beautiful place to stop on your journey up Pikes Peak to have a picnic, or.......do a little geocaching? ;)
Placed with permission from the Pikes Peak rangers.
HAPPY TREASURE HUNTING!!!!!

Congrats to Phantom F4 for the FTF!

UPDATE (July 2017): I apologize that the lid on the container is no good. We hope to get back to Colorado next year but in the meantime, if anyone is able to help us out and replace the lid or the whole container for us, we would greatly appreciate it :)

Greeting from Winnipeg, MB, Canada!

Kurt B and I are returning to Canada after attending the GeoWoodstock in Fort Worth, Texas.

We enjoyed finding some challenge caches, earthcaches, virtuals, webcams, high favourite caches and other caches on our journey back home.
The road back is never a straight line...some detouring.

KURT B sent in the answers for both of us for the earthcaches and virtuals.

#11908. Thanks ArmyFamily4 for adding to a fun caching day!

What an epic caching weekend! Covered a lot of ground! Today was all about Pikes Peak. Started bright and early with a hike along the ridge from Devil's Playground, then headed up towards the event. Thanks for placing this nice size cache! Picked up an odd piece of swag that I'm sure has some history behind it...looks to be a toe tag from a crematorium in Iowa. Nice area.

This was a fairly quick find for me, although I actually found it from the back side. Too bad t was just under 10,000 feet n elevation, but I'll take it nonetheless; good job and TFTC!
