We headed out on a caching adventure to grab caches in Lafayette, Niwot, Berthoud and Loveland areas. Its been a while since I broke out the geo-broke and today was a good day to do that. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC

This was a fun puzzle to solve, learned some interesting factoids. I solved it the day the cache published, but wasn't in the area to make the find until today. Enjoyed the walk to GZ on a beautiful, but hot day. Had the cache in hand right away! TFTC

TFTC Found this cache with a little help from FLM on the puzzle. I like the chamo concept.

TFTC I am reposting this find as my original post does not seem to be crossing over from my phone. I like the chamo concept.

Made it back to the cache and found it this time. I found a slightly closer place to park that worked well but perhaps disturbed some prairie dogs. Thanks for an enjoyable puzzle. Cheers.

[FTF] 05-25-2020 at 4:36 pm. I solved this puzzle shortly after it was published, but I don't live nearby. So it was added to a list of solved puzzles. Time was on my side because The CO had been kind enough to send a message to previous solvers explaining the updated coords.
This morning I woke up knowing that I needed an FTF today. I looked at the candidates and saw this one was closer than most of the others (36 miles away) and that it was still unfound. I read through the messages and realized that no one has tried since the coords or puzzle was updated.
I parked at the recommended spot and initially walked the wrong way on the path. After realizing my mistake I turned around and headed back to the lot.
Although the geocaching says it is .6 miles to the, that is as a bird flies. Staying on the path resulted in an approximate 2 mile round trip. Worthy of a 2 terrain rating in my book. Geocaching guidelines regarding a 2 T rating say, "The hike is less than 2 miles (3 km) along well-defined paths with no significant elevation change or overgrowth."
The find - I arrived at the GZ and studied my phone on satellite view. Interestingly, the phone showed me on the path when I certainly was not. So I knew that I couldn't trust my phone for determining the coords. I used sat imagery, went to where the blue dot was, and soon had the cache in hand - second place I looked. Well placed! I stamped my name on the log, but couldn't add the FTF date and time because I forgot my pen. I grabbed the travel bug and returned the cache to it's proper place.
Thanks for the cache!

Apologies to all solvers, the coordinates are about 30 feet off. I will be messaging all public solvers with the correct coordinates. Anonymous solvers, the cache is directly across the trail from the coordinates you solved for and about 15 feet off the trail. Puzzle will be updated shortly. Sorry again!

Ventured out to the cache and spent about 10 minutes looking but no joy today. I guess it wasn’t in the obvious place to me
