Welcome back, cacher! It's me Dr. Puzzle again. I am putting out this series to help you feel more comfortable with puzzles. We will start simple and then of course get a little more complex. This one is slightly more challenging than the last one but still pretty easy. I will be using the Wherigo platform to administer these little classes. Good luck. I took my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo up Big T Canyon today to search for the new Tahosa & Sons puzzle. Was unsuccessful. So we stopped at the final for this wherigo puzzle on the way home and somewhat salvaged the day by a successful find here. I had "solved" the puzzles in #2 several months ago but never stopped to find the cache until today. I'm presently (and have been for quite awhile) hung up and perplexed by the second puzzle in the #3 Dr. Puzzle!

Too many possibilities for the answers, so wrote a bit of code to find two of them for me. Another fun armchair Wherigo.

We definitely got focused on the wrong spot for this one. We'd put the actual W coordinate at between 0.002 and 0.003 more to the west. That doesn't sound like much, but it makes a lot of difference to the search area.

Found with dustyriver. We wanted to come up from Denver and attend an event in Northern Colorado. It has been a few years since we have, so we figured we would make a day out of it. We enjoyed all the finds and we really need to cache this area more often. Thanks for all the fun!

I worked on this Whereigo the day it came out, but decided to eat some dinner before going to look. When I checked after dinner, someone had made a find so I put it on the back burner to find later. Since I'm doing some housesitting in the area I decide it was time to stop by. This was the first Whereigo I solved on my own and I have to say it was a lot of fun. I'm also really glad I had Dud&Plato with me for the find as it took an expanded search area to actually locate the cache. I was definitely expecting it to be in a different spot, but when I saw the area we actually found the cache I thought it was a good alternative location to what the coordinates seemed to be pointing too.
