This cache is located near a
difficult 4x4 obstacle known as "Moab Hill." The name
of this red sandstone obstacle is fitting as it is similar in
appearance to many of the difficult obstacles found in
Moab.

Moab Hill is located on the Illinois
Gulch trail that starts out near Rainbow Falls. The
Illinois Gulch trailhead is included as a waypoint below and you
can download a GPX track file for the trail
here. With the exception of the Moab Hill obstacle which
is completely optional, the trail can easily be done in most high
clearance 4WD vehicles. The trail can also be hiked from the
parking area near the entrance to Rainbow Falls. You are
looking for a decon container located below a ledge that is
south-east of Moab Hill. There is an unactivated 2007
Colorado Geocoin for FTF.
