This is a quick cache and dash with an awesome scenic view as well as a look back in geologic time to at least the Jurassaic period. The age of the dinosaur. The red rock and soil in the distant valley is typical of this time frame which was just a short 206 to 144 million year blink ago in the evolution of the earth. There is lots of room in the pull offs for the largest of vehicles. Relax and enjoy if you have the time.

Team Honeybunnies' Summer Vacation to Dinosaur National Monument and Rocky Mountain National Park, Day 6: Vernal, UT to Fraser, CO via Fantasy Canyon and US 40. Really a travel day to get from Utah to Rocky Mountain, but we stopped everywhere, caching and taking in the views.

Another appreciated break from the road. A beautiful day, with just a touch of rain above Steamboat Springs. TFTC cocoalminer and utwildflower. Be cool Honeybunny!
