Mostly level terrain at 6167 feet above sea level. Ground could be soft in early spring. Large motor homes etc. are not recommended as parking is a bit narrow.
Small black container big enough for a log, writing instruments and small trade items

This cache is located at some natural wetlands. I've seen Red Winged Blackbirds, Egrets, Mallard Ducks, Canadian and White Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Blue Herons, Great White Pelicans and various other birds here. Also present are Mule Deer, Raccoons, Foxes, Rabbits and numerous Golfers. (cache is close to the Yampa Valley Golf Course)

Be sure to find "Pump Stump" and "Save the Pike" caches too!
