Park at the Ptarmigan Mountain Trailhead and follow the easement to the irrigation ditch. It is less than .2 miles from the trailhead.Enjoy the views of Dillon Reservoir, Ten Mile Range, Gore Range, Continental Divide, Keystone and Breckenridge Ski areas.

It's probably only a couple of hundred feet from I-70 but don't even think of accessing it from there. You will need to exit at MM 205.

The cache is a black cookie tin in a ziplock bag.

Look with PBaril about 20 minutes or so for this one. Lots of construction in the area at ground zero. Beautiful hike and beautiful view, this area will soon be developed and this will no longer be a good place for a cache. Overall a very enjoyable hike and experience.

Didn't find cache, looked for 20-30 minutes with Hambones. Plenty of washout and some new construction in the area might have compromised the cache. Either way was a great hike and great scenery!

GPS would not settle down so had to rely on spoiler picture. Signed log and placed back. The view made it worth the hike! TFTH
