A steep climb up a 8,600 foot rock just off the Tarryall Road.
Finding this cache will require some class 2 climbing skills but should be easy enough for an adult. We recommend taking Forest Service Road 290 west from the Tarryall Road (CR 77) if you have a 4WD vehicle or simply parking at the turnoff and walking up the road. Finding the best way up the rock is half the fun but coordinates for a good starting point have been provided in the hint. Please use caution when climbing and enjoy the fantastic views from the summit.

Congratulations to the FTF: hiking_fool, doc4001, jherber, and 2/3 Marine!

Out with Farm Girl and Olive on our way to Fairplay for the day. Farm Girl waited in the truck as Olive and I made our way to the top. The container needs replaced but the log was in GREAT shape. WOW what a view from the GZ!! Stamped the log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC

We of course went up the hard way before we found the easy way after meeting Brittany at her campsite at the, top! She joined us, and our geopup was able to make it up. TFTC! Follow Nixon! (FB: FollowNixon Twitter: @FollowNixon_Geo)

Whew, of course we took the hard way up. Recommend looking at the hint. We stumbled onto a camp site. She joined us for the climb and the find!

Here on Memorial Day weekend doing some camping, caching, and ATV riding with Audheidian and Austin. Cache location sure is in a rock climb spot, $RustyJones$ has to many rusty bones to tackle that climb. My grandson, Austin and Audheidian went for the cache. After a'bit they came down the climb letting $RJ$ know that there was a rock crevasse between them and the cache , so,off they went to hit it from the west side. $RJ$ found an old stump and took a rest. Enjoying the sunshine, there was a nice rock that provided a better view of the area and more sun after the cold weather that we had last night, still a cool breeze about. After awhile they returned letting $RJ$ know that they had come face to a rock cliff that should be a class 10 climb up. Looking at the pictures am sure this is one of a great cache site, TFTC! Had a wonderful outing, caching, $RustyJones$, Audeidian and Austin from Big Lake, Alaska.
