A strange collection over the Foothills Parkway

Very straightforward micro.  Log only, no pen.  Magnetic.

 

NOTE

On 4/30/18 I relocated the final back to the given coords. 

 

 

A very unusual collection;  to log this cache, walk over the overpass, count the locks, and propose a reason.

 

NOTE:  Cache is NOT on the Foothills Highway and there is no reason to be on it.

What a great day for a walk and geocaching. This took a while, but perseverance paid off. All is well with the cache. We counted 65 locks.

Found a nearby puzzle cache as the sun was getting ready to appear above the trees. Had glanced at the description of this and thought it might give me a nice vantage point for grabbing some photos. Walked over and chuckled at the ‘decorations’ along the path. Still has a ways to go to rival some European bridges though!

Picked the wrong side to begin my search. Wasn’t sure if yesterday’s snow was going to wreak havoc with the hunt but turned out to not be a problem. Once I was on the correct side, the accurate coordinates helped the container quickly appear. Signed in and replaced as found before any muggles happened by. Guess an 18 degree morning at sunrise is a great time to avoid the crowds!
