This is a challenge cache.  The cache is at the posted coordinates and is a 1.5/1.5.  The overall cache difficulty has been adjusted because of the challenge.  To claim a find you must sign the log and meet the requirements listed below.  You are welcome to sign the log at any time, post a note, and log your smiley once you verify the requirements are met.

 

A few years ago, I thought when I signed a challenge similar to this one I'd qualify for sure.  Um, yeah... not so much.  I guess I wasn't getting close enough to cliff edges.  So I went out and did some more hiking!  The challenge requirements: 

  • This is an Attribute challenge that requires your total between "Difficult Climbing" + "Climbing Gear" + "Cliffs / Falling Rocks" to be at least 55
  • Minimum of 3 each is required
  • All cache types count

I qualify for this cache with 46 Difficult Climbing, 13 Climbing Gear Required, and 58 Cliffs/Falling Rocks attributes.

WOO-HOO! I like to fancy myself as part Mountain Goat, part Monkey, mostly Neanderthal. Today I'm running around the dusty country back roads with my Caching partner in crime, Mr. Benji59. We had a blast grabbing a string of Challenge Caches, and then turned our attention to a dozen or so hides that hadn't been found in almost three years. All in all it was a highly successful outing, thanks to CO Lasouthpaw for conjuring up and placing these fun Challenges for us to come out and find, favorite from this Cave Man! TFTC

Today was rough. I worked, but had to leave early with a migraine headache. After going home, taking medicine, and a 4 hour nap, I was mostly recovered. I headed to an event, then off to a powertrail of challenge caches. That was a blast involving rolling skies and powering through muddy roads. Afterward, I headed northwest and cached back into civilization. Another great day of caching in the books!
