EVENT NO LONGER MARCH 7 - POSTPONED UNTIL MAY 9!
TODAY IS A BIG CELEBRATION!
Come celebrate with us from 5:00 - 7:00pm. You can come anytime, and stay as little or as long as you want to attend this event. No presents; your presence is your present. Refreshments, and music will be provided.
I started caching on the day I turned eight weeks old (October 26, 2018). You can find me caching with animjason ?? Sissadies. My first geocache was Nebraska's oldest geocache, GC943: "GO BIG RED". I have been to 63 events (and counting), and have loved meeting everyone and becoming part of this great community. I want to share my upcoming celebration with all of you. What celebration you ask?

MAY 9, 2020 ~ My Big Celebration! (this event)
We will be meeting inside the GYM at 15787 Haseley Dr, Parker, CO 80134. Enter using the EAST entrance, head through the foyer, and the doors to the gym will be slightly to your right. You won't miss us, follow the music! This is a church building, but not located where services are held. If you are apprehensive about entering, let me know and I'd be happy to come say hi for a minute outside the east entrance.

At this time, we advise Event hosts to consult their regional health authorities to understand the guidance regarding gatherings of people. Generally, Geocaching HQ leaves the decision to Event hosts on whether to continue hosting the Event and to attendees on whether they will participate. In some regions, community volunteer reviewers may suspend publishing new geocaches, including Events and/or may disable, retract, or archive already published Events, in accordance with guidance from health authorities.
For hosts who wish to cancel their Events, we suggest that they: 1. Create an Announcement log to notify users that the Event is cancelled. 2. Archive the listing. 3. If hosts wish to reschedule the Event, submit a new listing.
We understand it can be very disappointing to miss the connections that are made at Events. But please remember that geocaching is a location-based game, and locationless Events or virtual logging of Events are not permitted by the Geocaching guidelines. HQ appreciates that the community is so strong that players want to keep in touch virtually and we encourage doing so using other online platforms. Read the Geocaching Blog for tips about how to stay active with geocaching during these challenging times. Thank you for your understanding.

03/03/2020 By BearAdair Our fears have come to fruition. The Court Clerk failed to file a few documents, and we have to postpone court for two months to ensure they are filed and appropriate time for response has happened. If we don't do this, we leave ourselves open to a mistrial, even years later.
We are disappointed things are being delayed until May, but very grateful this was caught before court!
I was going to archive this event, and publish a new one, but since we already have a date "set" I'm just updating this event. This will now occur on MAY 9, 2020.
Do not come this Saturday! This is no longer on March 7! Event is now in MAY!!! Again, if there are any hiccups, I'll be updating the page.
Sorry to cancel, and hope to see everyone in MAY!
