Today I went on an expedition to the Arvada/North Golden area to grab geocaches with @2lablovers . They are great to cache with and are usually willing to join me at Sonic for a half price shake after we are done. We took a walk along the western edge of Blunn Reservoir and to get the caches along the trail. On our way back, at dusk, we heard an owl in the distance. I looked up and saw something silhouetted in the top of a dead tree. As we closed in, we saw that it was indeed the owl. We watched him watching us for a while. Tried to take a pic, but he was too far away in the darkness.
This one tried to allude us in the grass. But we kept looking. Just as we found the right spot a mouse jumped out of it's hiding place. I was just as startled as the mouse. No problems with the cache. TFTC!
