Hope Church was started in 1911 by a break away of several family members from the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Today the two churches work together on many community activities throughout the year. Hope Church's orginal building was destroyed by a massive tornado in 1993 and was completely rebuilt by the members of the church within one year.

Located at the end of a row of trees by the road. Placed under a rock as well to ensure that it doesn't get blown away in the Eastern Colorado wind.

BugRanger and I wanted a last good caching trip to Eastern Colorado, and targeted the Bethune Cross for a little geo-art. By the time we got here we didn't have a whole lot of daylight left, but zipped along as fast as we could and finished up just at dark, missing only one. I normally dislike cut-and-paste logs, and I'll add comments where warranted anyway, but mostly we got the hang of these hides quickly and really appreciated the fun of the whole thing. TFTC!
