I spend so much time on the trails of Douglas County that I thought I would share this location with you. This spot is on the Old Territorial Road in the Greenland Open Space in southern Douglas County.

Most of the other caches in this open space park are large so I thought I would make it more difficult and hide a micro! To get to this cache you will either need to hike or bike between 3-4 miles, depending on if you come at it from the north or the south.

Good luck and have fun! Watch out for rattlesnakes on the trail in the warmer months. The park is open sunrise to sunset year-round. Please BYOP. Do not remove the container from it's hiding spot. Instead, twist the top off.

TFTC! Decided to try for this one before the snowstorm hit. I was a bit late, as by the time I got to gz, it was almost dark and snow was falling. Managed to find. Signing it with numb hands was even trickier (if you see a signature that looks like a 5 year old's, it's probably mine). Cold walk back XD

Found it, I was just thinking how tedious micros are to find some times and the cold wind just kicked up and I thought OK I’ll look a little bit more before I quit??. And then I found it ?, tftc. ?

This one lives! I had kinda started my search right there but then my phone took me about 15’ away. When I didn’t find anything there I started the methodical expansion of my search & found it almost immediately. A fav point for a cache I could ride to.

Bike caching. I went to this site two days in a row with no luck. I looked for about 20 minutes each visit.

Came out here for a trail run this morning. Coords are spot on which made this a quick cache. My garmin GPS said 4.45 miles round trip from the southern end. Sl, thanks!

FTF at 6:20 AM.
We received the notification of this new cache last night and when we woke up this morning, it still had not been logged as found. So we got out our waterproof clothes and made the 2.2 mile hike up from the southern trailhead in the fog and light drizzle. The container is well hidden so it took us a few minutes to make the find. Signed log and replaced everything as found. Thanks for the fun new cache - let’s start it out with its first favorite point as well.
