About a year ago, my hubby and I were on a RMD/DGS Cache~ N~ Climb when we won this container.....the container was a co~op effort...Mr Volkswagon donated the container...it was deco`ed by Adam Porter of The Porters, and the theme was decided upon by the RMD..and Hartsdale hauled it all the way up to Loch Lomand just to lose it to us... :).....May is National BBQ Month, so that was the theme.....we wanted to place it in May and on DGS day...which as it happens, is May 3rd.....we looked for what we felt was the perfect spot for a BBQ cache....not too popular, but pretty....and perfect for a family BBQ out and about....and this is it....we wonder what happy memories have been made here...it hasn`t seen any use in a long time and we think it`s time for some new memories to join the old ones!....There is a small pull in, and you will want long sleeves and pants on, as thorns are guarding the cache...we would like you to write down or bring a recipe card with a favorite BBQ recipe on it to share with others and try to exchange BBQ items or travelbugs, as this is BBQ themed....Hope you enjoy our cache!....
across the stream...you do not need to climb the hill, and not under branches or a pile of rocks....might be 20+ feet off due to trees and the mountains ...is very well hidden...

07/14/2015 By jherber TFTC It was good to find another of your caches. I came from Woodland Park with nicehice to get a D/T rating he needed as well as some possible FTFs around Cripple Creek and Victor. This one gave us some trouble crossing the creek. Then nicehice went low and I went a little higher. He came up with it after I mentioned a likely spot. Hehad a devil of a time getting it out of its hidey hole. Great container, great hide, and worth another Favorite. Thanks for another Smiley face on the map.

It took me a bit of hunting to find the cache, then it took a while to figure out the combination to open the container.
