This cache gives you a view of a beautiful ridge of rock that looks like a Dinosaur back. Look across the creek, listen to the waters run and wonder all about Mother Nature.

Close to the river in one of many beautiful trees. Not accessible in Winter but high enough not to wash away.

I love this geological formation, the dike. Such a beautiful day. Didn't quite make it to Northpark. Had to turn around before the day ran out. Thanks for putting a cache at this amazing location.

There is a perfect opportunity for someone to do an earthcache near GZ for the traditional one as the dinosaur's back is an excellent example of a volcanic dike, one of several I've seen around Colorado; it is also very photogenic and even has a nice if small window in its structure; I walked several hundred feet south along the road after finding the cache container to get a photo or two of the hole. As far as the container s concerned, the D1.5 terrain is a little rough, being downhill over somewhat uneven ground, but the hot is good and the container was easy to spot; it is camo'd, but the camo chosen is actually anti-camo for the location. Very good job but for the slightly misleading terrain rating; TFTC!
