This is a puzzle cache. The physical cache is not at the above listed coordinates. In order to locate the cache you must decipher the true coordinates from the puzzle below. Good luck.

This is one of fourteen caches that make up the Western Sky portion of the Path of the Zodiac series of caches. Thirteen of the caches composing this portion represent the thirteen constellations that occupies the ecliptic that defines the Western Zodiac. The fourteenth cache, Path of the Zodiac: The Western Sky, can only be located after the initial thirteen caches in the portion have been located and the clues they contain gathered. The order in which these thirteen caches are found does not matter, but finding all of them is a requirement to seek out and log the fourteenth cache.

The constellation of Scorpio as the name implies represents a Scorpion. In myth this scorpion was sent to kill the skilled hunter, Orion, who had angered the gods with his prideful boasting. The scorpion defeated Orion, but the battle between the monstrous arachnid and the hunter so impressed Zeus that he raised both into the heavens as constellations.

The Riddle of Scorpio won't poison your mind, but it might leave you scratching your head.

RIDDLE OF SCORPIO

{{find[N]: var# = ( total_angle° )+x )"rdelay.") where pexe=go!_random%
find[W]: render_vector_exe=go!)*{A}° run_target# [emptycache]^zeropoint.bat^*(end_simple}}

When you find the cache remember to record the clue contained inside the container. You'll need it if you are looking to complete the full series.

Outside of providing a coordinate checker for each puzzle, I will not give personal help, hints, etcetera until the whole of the Path of the Zodiac series have been completed by a few cachers. It's the only fair way to do it as completing this series should be considered something of an accomplishment and making it to the end should go to those who make it there on their own devices. Cachers that have worked out a puzzle are discouraged from giving much away if asked for help in order to keep up the level of challenge provided by this series.

This was probably the fastest solve for these by me--not because it was easiest but because for once, when I said I need to remember this method, I actually DID. Usually, I think that and promptly forget, but this time I recognized it. Score for me.

The CO had warned me about going with someone for this one and that was no problem since Zircon101 and I usually cache together, although he rarely logs them. I had not idea what to expect,but I will say, it wasn't this. We were hoping we were wrong but reading a previous log mad us realize we weren't. It was a hard task for these old bodies, but mother nature offered a little help and we were able to get our names on the log. TFTC

Visiting Grand Junction for the weekend with geokid norbert28 and geodog Dakota. Geokid retrieved the cache. Found the rest of the caches in the series today. Had to come back to the room to put all the clues together for the final. Plan to get the final tomorrow morning.

What a great series of puzzles!

This one will be hard to beat! Great puzzle, great location, I really enjoyed it! I kept looking around GZ for another way to find this, but it became obvious what I had to do. Great view, cache had no swag, L: pink elephant bracelet. Thanks again for this fun series and, in particular, this cache!

Ok, having done my first one in the series time to move one (a short distance). Puzzle wise this was a nice easy one, one of the first ones I solved. Finding it took a few minutes until I checked a few things and then "Bob's your Uncle" there's the cache!! Another great puzzle and cache location was ball on with a great view to boot. TFTC!!
