This is a puzzle cache. The physical cache is not at the above listed coordinates. In order to locate the cache you must decipher the true coordinates from the puzzle below. Good luck.

This is one of fourteen caches that make up the Western Sky portion of the Path of the Zodiac series of caches. Thirteen of the caches composing this portion represent the thirteen constellations that occupies the ecliptic that defines the Western Zodiac. The fourteenth cache, Path of the Zodiac: The Western Sky, can only be located after the initial thirteen caches in the portion have been located and the clues they contain gathered. The order in which these thirteen caches are found does not matter, but finding all of them is a requirement to seek out and log the fourteenth cache.

The constellation of Sagittarius is commonly depicted as a centaur, half-man, half-horse. Centaurs were commonly thought of as uncultured drunkards and delinquents. The centaur represented by Sagittarius, Chiron, was the opposite. He was cultured and refined and became a teacher for many heroes.

The Riddle of Sagittarius might test your wits, but recall the calm mind of Chiron and perhaps the answers will come to you.

THE RIDDLE OF SAGITTARIUS

When you find the cache remember to record the clue contained inside the container. You'll need it if you are looking to complete the full series.

Outside of providing a coordinate checker for each puzzle, I will not give personal help, hints, etcetera until the whole of the Path of the Zodiac series have been completed by a few cachers. It's the only fair way to do it as completing this series should be considered something of an accomplishment and making it to the end should go to those who make it there on their own devices. Cachers that have worked out a puzzle are discouraged from giving much away if asked for help in order to keep up the level of challenge provided by this series.

This puzzle took a while to see the path, very nice, and out of the box to boot. As for getting to the cache I had a slight error... See, I'd loaded all of the caches onto my iPhone and to make the hunt easier I'd moved one of the caches to a folder and loaded the others as way points. It seems that when I did that I miss entered this one and did a wild goose hunt to the southeast of Capricorn. After searching for a while I checked my original and saw my mistake and hiked to the actual location (there's a trend here for the hides, if you go to a place and don't the hide material it a hint that you need to check things). TFTC.

This puzzle had me stumped for quite a while. I was fortunate to have an aha moment, and we solved it quickly after that. The cache was easy to find, but it was practically buried from the wind driving sand around it for the last couple of years. We managed to dig it out with a some effort. TFTC!
