A nice easy hike to a pretty arch in Ute Valley Park. Explore the rest of the park.
I was told by the city of Colorado Springs to remove the original cache from the City Park. I have replaced it with a virtual cache. No private land needs to be traversed for this cache.

Estimate how many feet from the bottom of the arched section to the ground to claim this find? The answer is NOT 0.

For some more nice rock formations continue in the Easterly direction.

Finishing up another section of Ute Vally Park. We love these trails, just wish secondary trails were on a map. Nice rugged terrain, which is keeping us nice and fit. Tftc

Soon after arriving in Colorado Springs, the family settled in for a rest leaving me time to cache a little. I came to this park hoping to grab the nearby wherigo. After dnf'ing that cache, I circled around to this virtual. It's not quite a consolation as it's a fun place in it's own right. Thanks for the virtual.

After dropping one granddaughter off at a camp, Colorado GeoDemon and the other granddaughter and us took a hike to this virtual. A great hike and an easy find. Last week we took the wrong trail and did not find it. The answer has been sent.

Took a bit of a long weekend, well five days anyway and hopped in a car with Boreal Walker and yellowdogs (AKA - Team Barcelona) and headed west aiming for parts unknown. This cache was one of those on the adventure. Wow it was a warm afternoon here today. But the stroll was nice, felt good to stretch the legs a bit. On a mission for this one. Then back to the cache mobile and some AC... Thanks for setting this one up.
