Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. The weather if perfect, and there is a load of caches that need my name on Smile Thanks so much for the hide mondou2, I really enjoyed finiding this cache!

What a journey! There weren't many drives on our road trip that compared to this verdant, surreal four-mile stretch of road. Hard to explain, so we probably just went at the right time of year. Loads of birds, free-roaming cows, vibrant green grass and a clear blue sky... the hills were rolling, and then down by the gate there were breaks of red rock. Beautiful area, and I'm very glad I attempted this cache. Find was easy enough. TFTC! A favorite.

I got questioned by the land owner here. Told her I was taking pictures. She said everyone around here is in a state of high tension because a neighbor was murdered recently. Got the find and got out.
