Near the Arkansas River and railroad tracks in Bighorn Sheep Canyon. This is a great spot to get in the river because the current is slow and the banks are gentle. The more adventurous might want to jump in from the cliffs you pass on the way here.

Had the Jeep serviced in Salida and decided to do a little caching along Hwy 50. All I found at GZ was a piece of paper that looked like it was the official geocache statement. I replaced the container and put in a new log and put it in the silver box.

Spending our 5th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our gold-mobile, and find lonely caches in out-of-the-way places. We entered CR45 from the east in our gold Jeep cachemobile and we were able to travel all the way west to CR7 because Badger creek was low enough to cross.

Find #15 of my 5 day weekend road warrior, no plans, the next cache is the direction I'm going so no map needed, caching road trip July 2013! Gave this one a try about 2 years ago. No luck then. Back in the area and figured another try was in order. Success! Not where I figured it was, but close enough. Any reason to get into this area is a good reason. Geocache is even better! T4T$ SL :)
