Working my way up to 100 WiG finds. Thanks for the smiley!
I teamed up with Rohatx tonight for some caching fun and adventure. The evening didn't disappoint! Our main targets were the "Pink House" caches, but we wound up all around Colfax. I'm not sure I would have tackled this area on my own. Found all kinds of interesting stuff and a few interesting people. Almost had a run-in late in the evening with the po po, but I guess I don't look very threatening. We cached until way past dark before splitting up and heading for home.

Woo hoo! I did it! Nine icons in one day (including the AL and a CITO event hosted by Joe Friday as well). The CO told me about a chance to do a high icon day when his virtual Pretty Pink House cache posted. So I saved it and just kept waiting to see what he meant. I couldn’t go to the Pretty Pink House event but I saw all the different types of caches pop up on the day of that event. So I saved them for the day of Joe Friday’s CITO. I had to go get an Earthcache out by Golden and I picked up a mystery cache out there too. But then I realized I still had to do the Pink House mystery for the WhereIgo. Hindsight is 20-20 and I got to do my very first WhereIgo in a round about way. It was so much fun even though I botched it a bit by not having the WIG app open. Joe Friday was kind as always and helped me out. I got 4 out of 5 WIG stops to work eventually and will try to get the last one to work on a bike ride sometime. This gets a favorite for the crazy effort that clearly went into it, for Joe Friday being kind and helpful, and for bringing me back to Casa Bonita for fun memories. My parents drove the family across the US from Massachusetts to Yellowstone and Casa Bonita was one of our stops (no lie). It’s truly a legend.

Wow, that was a fun adventure.
I was able to find all the answers, even if I had to go back to 2 of them.
Remember to keep the Wherigo app open!
The final became an easy find.
But this series if definitley worth the Favorite point!
Thanks Joe!

WOO-HOO! This WIG was my primary target of the afternoon, which I had the pleasure of sharing with my old friend Greasepot. We tackled the various Pink House hides on a mild cloudy day and teamed up on various apps while making our way around the area collecting smileys.
The world needs more WhereIgos in my humble opinion. Yes they can be glitchy and buggy, and yes I did have trouble triggering a few zones and the clues they provided. Luckily I had a WIG expert Greasepot in tow. Thankfully she double checked my work for the final, and discovered an error before we began a wild goose chase, which I have led her on in the past. They say the first thing to go in old age is your eyesight, and I goofed up one number, D'OH!
How on earth am I ever going to qualify for Jason's 8 icons with 100 finds Challenge? Well how do you eat "Roger the Elephant"? Answer one bite at a time! This happens to be my 20th WIG I've completed and finally qualify for a Challenge Cache out in Oregon I signed a few months back! Thanks to Joe and Ivy Dog parents for all the fun they have provided us recently, absolutely deserves a Favorite from me. TFTWIG!

Logging this one thanks to the CO! Enjoyed the entire Pink House series! Hopefully the Pink House will be open soon for everyone to enjoy. Signed log. Thanks for the cache and the series!

Logging this with approval of CO because I was with him and help him place the cache. Did not sign the log because I did not want the FTF!

Thanks for the nice Pink House series! Couldn't get the multi stop to open and give me the clue. Did get the other 4 clues. Logging as found with the CO's permission.
