Since this was my first visit to Lowry since 1975 I was determined to find at least one cache. After my grandson and I struck out twice at two nearby caches we felt lucky to make the find here. Signed the log and returned the cache as found before heading back up to the museum (where we had spent the day) area to meet the rest of the family. What a difference 44 years can make to an old airbase

I just knew this cache was here, so I came by this morning to give it another try. I thought the morning light might help highlight it differently, and it worked! It probably took me ten minutes to locate it. The beeeees were still here. Also, the grass was mowed since I was here last, so that made it nicer to tromp around the tree.
Thanks for placing this one, it was a lot of fun and very satisfying to finally find it!

I had problems connecting to the website today (due to the server upgrade/maintenance). I also couldn't connect to this cache, even after a thorough search. There were a lot of beeeeessss feeding on tree sap here, so I had to be careful too.

I went for a 19 mile bike ride today to get some exercise and to find some geocaches. This was one that I found along the way at 2:12 pm. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!
I looked for this one way back in 2013 and failed to find it. Today, piece of cake!
