This is a note vice a find as we have found this cache before. And, we have recently adopted this cache. We were in the area today, and noticed that there was a trackable here that hasn't moved in almost a year. So, we dropped by to check on it. Good thing we did, as this cache was critter'd in a big way. There are the remnants of a nearby very small controlled burn, but the cache was not in there -- it is in the low juniper just to the south. The lid had been chewed on and somehow taken off, and the contents were all over the place -- and everything had munch marks on it. Fortunately, we found the trackable safe and sound a few feet away. So, we grabbed the TB, wiped out and cleaned up the container, put in a new log in a new little ziploc, put in some new swag, and were on our way. This cache is AOK and ready for cachers. And -- you can park about 600 feet away, to the southwest, just before the first "Private Property" sign.

My son Jack of thegeocachekids had to find this cache sharing his name. We headed out from South Meadows CG with his sister and the son of zulu113. Admittedly I was tired after a night camping, and a day biking and kayaking at Rampart, so I misread a wiggly topo line as a road on my GPS (I also didn't have on my glasses) so we biked about a third mile past the road we needed to actually access the cache. My husband then headed back with the younger kids while Jack and I backtracked to the right road and had a really fun off road bike ride to the cache. I traded out trackables and we were on our way back for smores. TFTC

Easy find on a pleasant fall afternoon - I guess it was a lot harder to get to in the old days. TFTC
